ESEA has cut the number of teams in its Invite divisions to nine and announced invitations and fan votes for season 15 in both Europe and North America.

ESEA Invite has included twelve teams since the beginning in 2009, but with eight week seasons it has resulted in schedules being drawn randomly, as opposed to everyone playing each other an equal number of times.

Now the number of teams has been cut down to nine, which means every team will play each other twice during the regular season to ensure everyone has a fair change at qualifying for the LAN finals.

Both Europe and North America have seen eight teams get directly invited into ESEA Invite Season 15, with the final spot being up for grabs via a fan vote in each region.

Over in Europe each of the eight teams invited directly into the upcoming season of ESEA Invite was already in ESEA Invite last season, with k1ck, LDLC and Virtus.pro losing their spots.
